Production Process


The Manufacturing Process of Solar Water Heaters

The production process of solar water heaters is summarized in the following production departments:

1. Solar Collector Absorber and Component Production Department (fins, headers)

All types of absorbers are manufactured, including: meander, double meander, harp, double harp, etc.
The production capacity is 540–600 absorbers per 24 hours.

2. Collector Production Department

This department manufactures complete collectors in various types and dimensions.
Taking into account the different types of absorbers, there is the capability to produce over 600 different models of flat plate solar collectors.
Production capacity: 540–600 collectors per 24 hours.

3. Support Base and System Mounting Structure Production Department

This department produces various types of support structures for thermosiphonic systems and collectors for forced circulation systems, suitable for installation on flat and sloped surfaces, tiled roofs, as well as special constructions for extreme weather resistance.

4. Boiler Production Department

This department produces different boiler designs for thermosiphonic solar systems (up to 300 liters) and for forced circulation systems (up to 2000 liters).
Production capacity: 100–120 boilers per day.

The wall thickness of the water tanks varies depending on the material and processing used (extrusions, etc.). Specifically:

  • Stainless steel and copper tanks: 2mm thick

  • All other tanks: 2.5mm to 3mm thick

5. Quality Control Department

This department conducts thorough final inspection of each produced unit, aiming to eliminate any manufacturing defects.

6. Packaging Department

This department is responsible for the final packaging of each unit and palletization of products before they are shipped to over 26 countries worldwide.

Production Lines Feature State-of-the-Art Equipment, Including:

  • Automatic LASER welding machine for absorber or fin production (capable of welding copper-copper, copper-aluminum, aluminum-aluminum)

  • Automatic ULTRASONIC welding line for fins (copper-copper, copper-aluminum)

  • Automatic hydraulic skeleton welding machine for copper or aluminum pipes

  • Automatic header pipe punching machine (28mm, 22mm, 18mm)

  • Automatic leakage control machine with hydrostatic pressure testing at 15 bar and 7 bar consecutively

  • Aluminum profile cutting saws

  • Press for shaping aluminum frames

  • 4 aluminum frame assembly stations

  • 2 solar collector assembly stations

  • Automatic packaging machine
